Estate of Plane Crash Victim Maximizes Settlement With Annuity

Money4The estate of a man who died in a plane crash in South Carolina in 2008 recently settled its lawsuit against multiple companies involved in the crash.  The man’s three-year old son will receive $4.375 million dollars, which will be used to purchase an annuity guaranteed to pay over $17 million.  Illustrating that annuities can be very beneficial for heirs, the estate of the plane crash victim has insured that the young son will be taken care of for life.
