Happy Mother’s Day to All Mothers, including the Billionaire Moms

A recent Forbes article reports that there are just 70 billionaire moms in the world.  Only eight of these billionaire moms are self-made billionaires.  The rest billionaires are as a result of inheritances.  Some of these billionaire mothers include the following women:

• Margaret C. Whitman is the mother of two.  She became the CEO of E-Bay in 2004 when the company had no more than 30 employees.  Whitman is now bidding to be the next governor of California.
• JK Rowling has three children and has made billions off her Harry Potter books.
• Savitri Jindal has nine children.  She is the widowed matriarch of a steel and power conglomeration in India and an elected politician in her home state in India.
