After attending the University of Colorado for interior design, William Nicholas Roos moved to New York City where he immersed himself in the arts. His love for art and Broadway made him many friends in New York, including Esther DuPont, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, and Katharine Hepburn. He also loved to travel and collected art items from all over the world. He cherished his collection and educated himself about every item he collected.
Leslie Hindman Auctioneers is now auctioning William Nicholas Roos’s collection of nearly 400 items. The preview of his estate will open on Thursday, December 2 and close on Saturday, December 4. The actual auction will be on Sunday, December 5 at 12:00 p.m.
