The will of murdered publicist Ronni Chasen has been revealed. In the document, dated June 10, 1994, Ronni left large sums to several charitable organizations and 3/4 of her estate to her mother. Her mom has since died, so Ronni’s niece, Melissa Cohen, will get a large sum of money instead. Ronni intentionally disinherited another niece, Jill Gatsby, except for the gift of $10. She also left her playbill collection and other memorabilia to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, providing that she gets credit when it is publicly exhibited.
Another will was prepared for Ronni in 2006, but it has not yet been located. Ronni’s brother, who is applying to be the special administrator, believes that it may be in a safe deposit box. Perhaps this document will determine where her $6.1 million estate will go instead.
