Every Estate Sale Shopper’s Dream

Ming vase A seventy-nine-year-old retired Cadbury chocolate factory worker recently discovered a pretty vase at an estate sale. The vase turned out to be a 600-year old Ming vase manufactured during the reign of an emperor named Yongle. Because the vase is from China, yet has Islamic influence, auctioneers at a Dorchester auction house believe the vase will draw bids from both Asian and the Arab worlds. The auction is scheduled for May, and the vase is expected to bring in roughly $1.6 million.
