Does This Mean No Work on Monday?

9567146-large Harold Camping, a civil engineer who became a self-taught biblical scholar, has prophesied that the end of the world will begin tomorrow, May 21, 2011. Camping came to his conclusion by looking at Bible-based calculations that are based on the assumption that Judgment Day will occur 7,000 years after Noah’s flood.

Camping claims that believers will be taken to heaven tomorrow, while non-believers will be left on earth to “endure five months of plagues, quakes, wars, famine and general torment before the planet’s total destruction in October.” Camping previously prophesied in 1992 that the world would likely end in 1994, but now claims that new evidence points to tomorrow as being Judgment Day.
