Thief Returns Son’s Ashes

When a thief broke into the home of Lori Reek, a Florida resident, over the Fourth of July weekend, he or she took a safe containing the ashes of Reek’s son. After a local television station aired a story about the burglary, an anonymous person dropped the ashes off at the County Sheriff’s Office. Funeral home officials who learned of Reek’s story donated a new urn for her son’s ashes.
