Cremations on the Rise

According to funeral home directors nationwide, more people are choosing cremation over traditional burials. Thirty-seven percent of Americans currently request cremations over burials, with the number climbing about one percent annually. Cremations may be on the rise because they cost less than traditional burials which have the added expense of caskets and plots.
