Dr. Death Paintings Up For Auction

Jack Kevorkian, known by many as Dr. Death, helped dozens of individuals commit suicide in the 1990s. Now, writings, blue sweaters, and twenty paintings by the late doctor are being auctioned off in New York this month. Many of the paintings depict death or dying, and one painting that features a decapitated head is displayed in a frame painted with Kevorkian’s own blood.

According to Kevorkian’s attorney, most of the proceeds from the auction will go to the doctor’s niece (his sole heir) and the charity Kicking Cancer for Kids.
