A More Detailed Look at the John Marshall Online LLM Program
I recently blogged about the new online LLM program in estate planning that the John Marshall Law School will offer in the fall. I found some more specific information on how the program will help to make participants practice-ready.
Students would be required to take the following courses: Wealth Transfer Taxation I and II, Estate Planning I and II, Income Taxation of Estates and Trusts, and Estate and Trust Administration and Post-Mortem Planning.
In addition to coursework, students will complete a Comprehensive Estate Plan Project to test the skills they are gaining from the coursework. The students will work individually, with the guidance of a faculty member, to create a plan based on a sophisticated and advanced scenario.
