Debate on Same-Sex Marriage Bill Delayed in Maryland House
Delegate Patrick Hogan, a Republican lawmaker from Maryland considered to be the swing vote in Maryland’s House of Delegates, says he will not support the proposed gay marriage bill. Supporters of the bill delayed the House’s floor debate on the bill until today. Maryland will be the eighth state to legalize marriage if the House and Senate sign off on the bill.
