Graffiti Artist’s Facebook Stock Now Worth Half a Billion Dollars
Sean Parker, Facebook’s president, hired graffiti artist David Choe to paint Facebook’s offices in 2005. At the time, Choe opted to receive Facebook stock in lieu of $60,000 for the paint job.
With Facebook’s coming initial public offering, Choe says the stock he received for painting the offices could now be worth $500,000 million. However, Choe says he does not own all of the original stock he received becuase he sold some of the stock prior to the IPO.
