Man Inherits $3.5 Million Comic Book Collection

Comic booksMichael Rorrer found his late great uncle’s comic book collection while cleaning out his aunt’s house following her death. The collection contained numerous rare comic books from the late 1930s to 1950s.

Rorrer asked an auction house expert to price the collection and learned the collection was worth close to $3.5 million. Rorrer sold eighty of the lesser-valued comics in an online auction yesterday that was expected to bring in around $100,000.
