Teenager Kills His Grandmother to Hurt His Uncle

Jasper Aristotle Smiddie, a 19-year old from Florida, allegedly killed his grandmother by stabbing her close to 100 times, striking her face with a wrench, and shooting her with a crossbow. Smiddie confessed the killing to his father, stating that he “did something stupid.” Smiddie claims he blackedout during the murder and woke up two hours later with blood covering his hands.

Investigators believe Smiddie killed his grandmother so his uncle would suffer. It is unknow why Smiddie hated his uncle, but it is believed that killing’s only purpose was to cause his uncle grief.
