Teleconference on Attorney Liability Issues when Planning for Asset Protection

The American Bar Association is hosting a teleconference and Live Audio-webcast entitled Attorney Liability Issues in Asset Protection Planning on March 20, 2012. The teleconference will be 90 minutes. The program description is below:

Asset Protection is a hot area of law due in large part to the economic recession and its aftermath providing the resolution of cases involving debtors and creditors. This program will cover asset protection from a different angle – liability issues that arise for the attorney who assists in such planning. The discussion will include primary and secondary forms of liability, including ethical issues under the state bar. Our panelists will provide their perspective from their respective roles as asset protection planner and creditor rights litigator.
