Arturo Gatti Story Continues on 48 Hours
Arturo Gatti, former boxing champion, died three years ago while on vacation with his wife and infant son in Brazil. Gatti’s widow was originally a suspect and jailed on murder charges, but a few weeks later, authorities released her because they thought Gatti committed suicide by hanging himself.
Since Gatti’s death, his wife has been battling Gatti’s other family members over his will. Last Saturday, 48 Hours Mystery aired their second installation of the ongoing Gatti story. 48 Hours correspondent interviewed Gatti’s surviving wife about what happened on the night of his death and about what has happened since.
