Price William will turn 30 on June 21, and this triggers the distribution of a $16 million lump sum from his mother’s will. Kate and William can use the money to buy a family home. They currently live in apartments at Kensington Palace. William also has the option to edit Princess Di’s will to allow Harry a greater share of the total inheritance. William might choose to exercise that because he will be inheriting the income from the Duchy of Cornwall when his father becomes King.
