StorkAngel Herbert is a 25-year-old married woman with aheart condition that made it unsafe for her to be pregnant.  Her mother, Linda Sirois, 49,volunteered to be a surrogate mother for her baby.  Many fertility clinics would not accept Linda as a surrogatemother because of her age, but the family finally found the ReproductiveScience Center in Lexington, Mass. that accepted her after she passed sometests.

Linda became pregnant the first time her daughter’segg was implanted.  She said thatthis pregnancy may have been her easiest out of her five totalpregnancies.  The baby, Madden, wasdelivered by C-section, weighing 7 pounds, 14 ounces.
