George Jefferson Still Not Buried

Sherman Hemsley, who played George Jefferson, diedof lung cancer on July 24 at the age of 74.  Even though he died over a month ago, he still has not beenburied because there is a dispute over his will.  Associated Press described a will that left his estate to awoman named Flora Enchinton, his friend and manager for over 20 years. 

A man named Richard Thornton has come forth,claiming that he is Mr. Hemsley’s brother and that the will may not have been writtenby the actor.  Ms. Enchinton toldthe Associated Press that Mr. Hemsley never told her he had relatives.  She speculates that money might bemotivating Thornton’s claim.
