“Lucky” the Dog Inherits a Fortune

DogKenneth Bortz collected a great number of antiques and valuable artifacts in his life, which includes fine china, silver, and furniture. Unfortunately, when Mr. Bortz passed away recently he did not have any immediate family members to give his vast fortune. In the end, Mr. Bortz gave his entire estate to his last surviving family member, his dog Lucky. The former heir to the estate Tim Connolly stated that his friend Mr. Bortz gave Lucky all of his basic needs while he was still alive. Now, it appears that this lucky dog will be enjoying a little bit more than just the basic needs.

Mr. Bortz’s relatives that are still alive did not want any of the collectibles that he owned, and so the estate held a sale to bring in money for Lucky’s care. Another one of Mr. Bortz friends, Skipper Dixon, stated that he was close to Mr. Bortz, and he was not surprised that he chose to leave everything he owned to Lucky. Dixon explained that Lucky and the other dogs were like Mr. Bortz children. Lucky just happened to be the last one. Once Lucky passes away, Mr. Bortz nieces and nephews stand to inherit the remainder of the estate.
