Prostitute on Trial For Beating An Elderly Client

Court FightA prostitute, Lynette Evette Derouen, is set to stand trial for threating to attack an elderly client with a brick. According to The Daily Journal, she eventually made good on her promise and robbed the older man, taking cash, a television set, and his car. During the assault, she pushed the man down and yelled, “show me the money.” She plead not guilty to these allegations and remained in custody on a $500,000 bail.

Reportedly, the trouble started when the 82-year-old elderly client ended the arrangement that he had with Derouen where “she would come to his home to provide services.” This did not completely end the relationship as the elderly client might have hoped. Authorities reported that Derouen would still go to the old man’s home. During one incident, she pressured him to give her money. She was convicted of felony grand theft for this and placed on probation. Following her conviction she was ordered to stay away from the man. Recently, in April, she violated the terms of her probation when she returned to the man’s home. It was at this moment when the alleged acts occurred.
