Heckerling Institute on Estate Planning

Unknown-1The 47th Annual Heckerling Institute on Estate Planning starts today and goes through January 18.  Wealth Management has provided some highlights.  

  • T & E Board Member Bernie Krooks kicked off the program this morning speaking about the fundamentals of elder law and how to counsel clients in the last third of their lives. 
  • Martin Shenkman will take notes and Wealth Management has agreed to post summaries of each session.
  • T & E Board Member Turney P. Berry will give a fiduciary law update on Jan. 17 at 2 p.m.
