Jackson’s Paternity Status May Come Into Question From AEG Lawsuit
As I have previously discussed, Michael Jackson’s children have brought suit against concert company AEG for their involvement in their father’s death. The children claim that the company was negligent in hiring Dr. Conrad Murray and they overworked their father. Now, it appears that a lawsuit will have some unintended consequences for Jackson’s children. As part of the awards portion of the trial, AEG is prepared to introduce testimony that Jackson is only the biological father of only one of his children, 10-year-old Blanket.
The family has pleaded with “the judge to not allow AEG to disclose the children’s biological information.” The Jacksons argue that the evidence will not be relevant to the trial; futhermore, they allege that the evidence will only serve to damage the reputation of their father. AEG claims this information is necessary to their case and that they proof to prove with certainty that Jackson only fathered Blanket. While the Judge Yvette Palazuelos originally denied AEG’s request to introduce this evidence, she could allow the evidence to enter later. A number of different men have come forward that claim they might have fathered Jackson’s children, including Arnold Klein, Matt Fiddes, a former child actor Mark Lester.
