Marine Painting Worth Thousands

A man who inherited a painting from his deceased father tookit to an Antiques Roadshow. The paper work to the painting found in his father’sdesk indicated Francis L. Silva painted the artwork, but the man was unsure ofthe paintings worth. He was pleasantly surprised when the marine painting wasvalued at $250,000. Silva was a self-taught painter known for his marinepaintings.
