Mark Canady was disbarred for taking money from a boy’sestate. Canady pleaded guilty to embezzlement and admitted to spending $45,000.He represented himself in court and alleged that the money was used to coverhis bar and grill in Lansing, Michigan. Additionally, Canady claims he wasgoing to reimburse the estate funds but was unable to. An investigationrevealed he spent the money on bills, expensive dining, and gas not on afailing business. Canady is facing up to 10 years in prison and is expected tobe sentenced June 26th. Disgraced attorney Mark Canady admits he embezzled.
