89 Year Old Man Turns Himself In For Grand Larceny
Anthony Marshall turned himself in for stealing millions ofdollars from his mother. He will be serving a three year sentence for the grandlarceny and other charges. Marshall’s son testified against his father in court and stated that he knew that Marshall hadbeen stealing from his mother who suffers from Alzheimer’s. However, Marshall’s son read a mercy letter to thejudge for his father to avoid jail time. The letter reminded the judge that his father was a decorated veteran that servedthis country well. The Judge handlingthe case denied Marshall’s attorney motion for a new trial and ordered him toreturn to court on Friday to begin his sentence. Prison doctors will perform a physicalexam on Marshall. Depending on the results, he could be sent to a correctionfacility or to a prison nursing home.
