Gay Marriage in the UK
This week in the UK gay marriage willlikely become law. The law is scheduled to be in effect next summer. Afterthe bill passed through the House of Lords, the Conservative, Labour and LiberalDemocrat leaderships all supported the bill. However, the bill will endue someminor changes. One of the changes is the addition of protections fortransgender couples to stay married after a sex change. Additionally, therewill be an assessment on whether different belief organizations will bepermitted to perform marriages.
