Amanda Bynes Mother Granted Temporary Conservatorship
As I have previously discussed, Nickelodean celebrity Amanda Byneshas spent $1.2 million dollars of her $4 million dollars in life savings. Herparents are claiming that the money was spent in a very short time span. As aresult of what her parents believe is excessive spending and misconduct, Rickand Lynn Bynes petitioned the court for a strict, court orderedconservatorship. The judge had delayed the outcome because he wants to speakwith Amanda when she is removed from her psychiatric hold.
Bynes will continue to be in the hospitalfor an additional 30 days. Reports indicate her mom has been granted atemporary conservatorship. She was involuntary hospitalized after a bizarre incidentwhere she set fire to a home that eventually spread to her pants. The initial three-daystay was extended. Doctors determined Bynes was not competent enough to attendthe temporary conservatorship hearing.
