Jury Selection for Huguette Clark Case Begins
As I have previously discussed, heiress, Huguette Clark, diedTuesday, May 24, at the age of 104. Clark was the daughter of William AndrewsClark, a business man who had made a fortune in mining. Clark’s will was filedwith a Manhattan court, allowing the world to see where Clark’s estimated $300million estate will go.
Jury selection is starting September 17. The willin dispute is from an April 2005 will which left the majority of the estate tocharities, her caregiver nurse, and god daughter. Her relatives received nothingunder this will even though they had been the primary beneficiaries of a willsigned six weeks prior to the disputed will.
