JailKarlKarlsen has pleaded guilty to killing his son for life insurance proceedsamounting to $700,000. Details on his sentencing have not been released yet. Prosecutorsare claiming that Karlsen killed his son by taking a truck off its jack whilehis son was under the truck working on it. Just days before the murder, LeviKarlsen had made a holographic will leaving his belongings to his father. Afterten hours of interrogation, it became clear to the authorities that Karlsen’saccount of what happened was not adding up. Karlsen provided authorities withmany different stories about what happened and in each scenario, he did not gethelp.

Investigatorsare now prying into the death of Karl’s first wife Christina Karlsen who diedin a fire in California in 1991. Her death also resulted in an insurance policypayout. These incidents has made Karl’s second wife uneasy. In fact, shetestified that she thought that Karl had something to do with Levi’s death, andthat she had suspected it since the summer after Levi’s death.  Even more troubling to Christina, shefound out that Karl had purchased a life insurance policy on her worth $1.2million dollars with the proceeds from Levi’s life insurance pay out.
