Thieves Try To Steal Sigmund Freud’s Ashes

Sometime during New Year’s Eve thieves broke into the Golders Green crematorium and tried to remove the urn that holds Sigmund Freud and his wife’s ashes. Green employees found shards of the ‘irreplaceable’ vase on the floor the following morning. The vase dates back to 300 BC and was one of Freud’s antiques. The urn has been relocated to a secure location. Police are still investigating the break-in.
