CLE on Health Care Decisions

The American Bar Association is sponsoring a live webinar entitled, Health Care Decisions and the “F” Word: Counseling Clients about Medical Futility, on Wednesday, April 23, 2014.  Provided below is a description of the event:

Lawyers play a prominent role in helping clients plan ahead for end-of-life health care decisions. This program will:

• Provide an understanding of the law and the range of policy and practice issues concerning medical futility
• Help you become more accurate and supportive in counseling families about the limits of non-comfort interventions
• Help you become more effective in counseling when conflicts arise in end-of-life decision-making
