Gargoyle Statue Center of Wrongful Death Case
A wrongful death case in Cook County alleges that piece of a gargoyle statue fell from a Presbyterian church in Chicago killing a mother of two. Lance Johnson is bringing the suit over the incident that he claims caused the death of his fiancée, 34-year-old Sarah Bean. According to the complaint the incident occurred on Sept. 4, 2014. Johnson further alleges that the church knew about and failed to repair the dangerous outside of the building.
