Former Clients Bring Claims Against Iowa Lawyer’s Estate

Gavel2The estate of Iowa lawyer David Alan Roth is facing over $4 million in legal actions from creditors and former clients. One former client, Melissa Thompson, is claiming that after years of unanswered correspondence with Roth regarding her lawsuit, she only found out last month that her suit had been dismissed by Roth 6 1/2 years earlier when she retrieved her file from Roth’s office after his death. Thompson’s claim against the estate is seeking $101,557 for her dismissed lawsuit.
