Inheritance Money Saves Life
One year ago, after receiving an inheritance check from his late mother, a man went to cash the check and says it was “[n]othing but bills, bands still.” He stashed the money in his front jacket pocket, and as he was leaving with his wife to get into their truck, a group of men with guns and knives approached them, demanding money.
Suddenly, the man heard several loud “pops.” When he turned around he noticed a bullet had shot him in the buttock and another bullet hit the pocket of money, destroying $3,000. The man believes that his inheritance money protected him from further injury. “I could have lost my life. I think the guardian angel was my mother looking out,” he says.
