Grave Digger Sentenced to Prison

Grave (dug up)A New Hampshire woman has been sentenced to 1.5 to 3 years in prison after digging up her father’s grave in search of his “real will.”

Melanie Nash told police she dug up the grave “with respect,” and that “her father would be okay with it.”  Police said Nash felt as though she was shorted in her share of the inheritance after her father died in 2004.  Melanie was disappointed to find only vodka and cigarettes in the casket rather than a will.
