Lawsuit Filed Over Dachshund’s $100,000 Pet Trust

DachshundIn New York, a dachshund’s caretaker is suing the executor of the dog’s deceased owner’s estate over the $100,000 trust fund meant for her surviving furry friend. The owner passed away in 2010, but the canine’s caretaker alleges that she has only received a few $10 checks, when the dog’s care amounts to approximately $6,000 annually. The lawsuit seeks financial record for the pet trust and back pay for the dog’s care.
