UNH Librarian Leave $4 Million Estate to School
Robert Morin worked almost 50 years at the University of New Hampshire library and rarely spent money, driving a 1992 Plymouth and hardly ever buying new clothes. After his death, his lifetime of frugality resulted in an unexpected gift to UNH—Morin’s entire $4 million estate. The university plans to spend $2.5 million on an expanded career center and $1 million for a new scoreboard at the football stadium. The will specified one gift—$100,000 to the UNH’s Diamond Library.
