Families of Victims Killed with Jose Fernandez File Claims Against His Estate

The families of the two men who died alongside Miami Marlins pitcher Jose Fernandez in a boating accident are suing the All-Star’s estate. Authorities revealed that Fernandez had cocaine and alcohol in his system at the time of the crash, although it is not clear if he was driving. The attorney representing Fernandez stated that a settlement is highly unlikely due to the official investigation being incomplete. Each family is seeking $2 million.
