Princess Diana’s Letters Go Up for Auction, Offering an Intimate Glimpse into Her Life

An intimate glimpse into Princess Diana’s life will soon be afforded to an admirer as some of her personal letters go up for auction. The collection includes thank you letters, Christmas cards, photographs, invitations to royal events, typed list of wedding gifts, and letters written during the royal couple’s honeymoon. One of the more rare items of the lot is said to be the letter she wrote during her honeymoon expressing her enjoyment of being able to catch up on sleep. Princess Diana’s correspondence will be sold at auction on April 12, 2017.
