Rare JFK and Jackie Pictures Go Up for Auction
Rare photos of President John F. Kennedy and his wife, Jackie Kennedy Onassis, in their first year of marriage are going up for auction. The intimate snaps were taken by famed photographer Orlando Suero, who was tasked with capturing “a day in the life” of the young politician. The original owner of the collection donated a bulk of the photographs to the Peabody Institute of John Hopkins University in 1999, but after his passing, his son is selling his personal collection of thirty-one photographs for $6,000.
