As the federal estate tax exemption has risen from under $600,000 per person to $5.49 million over the last twenty years, estate planning has evolved. This series provides an introduction to the wide range of issues that constitute a modern estate planning practice including transitioning a business across generations, protected inherited assets from creditors, planning to avoid interfamily disputes, litigating those disputes, addressing incapacity for an aging society, and the often neglected aspects of proper trust administration. This series features five 90-minute CLE on-demand programs specifically designed for attorneys who are new to estate planning. Program speakers are industry leaders with in-depth knowledge and expertise.
