The Irish singer had suffered from depression and bipolar disorder throughout her career. Friends close to the singer reported that she had seemed depressed over the past few weeks. The Met police, who responded to the call after O’Riordan was found unresponsive in her room, “determined the death to be non-suspicious.” The coroner is currently waiting the results of a number of tests that were performed at a post-mortem examination.
