Huguette Clark’s Last Apartment Now Up For Sale

Huguette ClarkAs I have previously discussed, the Fifth Avenue apartments that belonged to Huguette Clark were on the market for sale. Now, it appears that the last apartment that she owned is about to be sold for $7.2 Million. This last apartment, which went on sale on April 5, is apparently the one that housed doll collection. Clerk began her collection in the 1960s following the death of her mother. Her apartment was filled with her dolls. The apartment itself is in an amazing collection because it over looks central park.

Even though the estate has placed the apartments on the market, “the co-op board of has been highly particular about who they want in the building – barring Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani, who wanted to buy the entire eight floor last year.” The co-op board did allow Frederick Iseman to purchase one of the eight floor apartments. In the apartment’s entirety, the building is worth about $12 Million.
